The San Marcos Art League sponsors two venues for member
art: the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and Town Lake Deli in Austin.
Monica Boeckman is our new curator for the San
Marcos Chamber of Commerce. Her email is mbboeckman@yahoo.com. The schedule is
now for two months. This is what we have scheduled for the next few months:
Carol Lee Cadema - Feb 3rd- March 2nd
Monica Boeckman - March 2nd-May
4th
Judith Nicholls - May 4th- July 6th
We will discuss the July
6th - Sept 7th slot at the February meeting. Monica has proposed a group theme
show where everyone can participate.

The
San Marcos Chamber of Commerce is located at 202 N. CM Allen Pkwy., San
Marcos, and Town Lake Deli is located at 100 Congres Ave., Austin. For a
solo exhibit, an Art League member will need 12 to 15 Framed, Ready to Hang
pieces, 18" x 24" to 24" x 36". can be smaller... The Chamber is 'G' rated
only.The Deli is ok with 'R' rated but, good taste is needed for 'X'.
We always would like folks to show their
work.... the perpetual call for artists.
Don't forget that if you
sell art at a San Marcos Art League venue you have agreed to give the art
league a 10% commission.
