Lisa Jasak is a featured artist in the current All About
Image Contemporary Abstract Show. The show will extend through April 30. They
write of Lisa:
Lisa Jasak's paintings capture the essence of a single
moment in time, like a glimpse of déjà vu in vivid color. Each
piece tells its own story. Her dreamlike paths often represent the feeling of
traveling into the unknown future. She believes that paintings add a subtle yet
significant meaning to the places we live. They bring mystery, provoke thought
and inspire us. She says, "People are proud of the work we hang on our walls.
The art we collect reveals an intriguing glimpse of the hidden depths that
shape who we are."
Norman Bean will be showing his work at the
Tantra Coffee House from January 15 through mid February. He also has a new
website, Drawings and
Images of Italy.
Norman also had two drawings accepted to a juried art
show, "For the Love of Art" at Austin Artspace, 7739 Northcross Drive Suite Q,
Austin. This show extends through Feb 27.
Judy Nicholls had a piece accepted in the
current Wimberley Valley Art League juried show. The gallery is in the
Wimberley Community Center. The picture was taken in the slot canyon at
Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument.
